Swami Chinmayananda Jayanti Celebration – May 8

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro, joyfully celebrated the Jayanti of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda on May 8, honoring the birth anniversary of the visionary spiritual leader and founder of Chinmaya Mission. The day began with a soulful prayer session and floral tribute, followed by bhajans, talks on his life and teachings, and cultural performances by students. Teachers and students reflected on his message of selfless service, knowledge, and inner transformation. The event inspired all present to walk the path of values and wisdom laid by Gurudev, whose legacy continues to enlighten millions across the globe.

Bhajans emphasise upon the spiritual and emotional power of a bhakt. It highlights the experience of oneness with the divine, the purification of the mind, and the transformative effect of chanting." Bhajans helps in expressing love and devotion to the supreme creating a feeling of oneness.

Poshan Abhiyan (National Nutrition Mission)

Government of India is celebrating Poshan Pakhwada till 25th April 2025. The main objective of this initiative is to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition and to promote health and wellness across the Nation. Fighting childhood obesity through healthy lifestyle is the theme in the Poshan Pakhwada focusing on school going children.
